2.1 Website access and server logs
When you visit this website, technical data is processed that is necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. This may include, in particular:

- accessed page / file
- referrer URL
- browser type and version
- operating system
- status codes and transferred data volume
Purpose: website delivery, technical administration, troubleshooting, and security.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
2.2 Contact by email
If you contact us via email, we process the information you provide (e.g., name, email address, message content) to respond to your inquiry and, where applicable, to initiate or perform a contractual relationship.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures / contract), or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
3. Hosting
This website is hosted on Cloudflare (Pages/Workers). In the course of hosting, Cloudflare processes technical data (server logs) on our behalf to deliver the website and ensure operational security.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Appointment Booking with Calendly
On the "Contact" and "Book a 20-minute Engineering Call" pages we embed the scheduling service Calendly, provided by Calendly, LLC, 115 E Main St., Ste A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA. When you open these pages, your browser loads the booking form directly from Calendly's servers. Technical data such as your IP address and browser and device information is transmitted to Calendly, and Calendly may use cookies or similar technologies.
When you book an appointment, Calendly processes the information you enter (e.g., name, email address, selected time slot, and any optional details about your request) on our behalf and makes it available to us to prepare the call.
Purpose: scheduling and preparing calls.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) for the booking itself, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in simple scheduling) for embedding the service.

5. Cookies
We do not set any cookies ourselves and do not use analytics, advertising or marketing trackers. Cookies can only be set by the embedded Calendly service (see section 4), and only on the pages that show the booking form.
6. Recipients / Third Parties
We do not share personal data with third parties unless it is necessary to fulfill your request, we are legally required to do so, or a service provider supports us in operating the website (Cloudflare for hosting, Calendly for appointment booking).
7. International Data Transfers
Cloudflare and Calendly are based in the USA, so personal data may be transferred to the USA. Both providers are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Article 45 GDPR). Calendly additionally relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Data Retention
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Server logs are retained for a limited period as required for security. Email inquiries are retained as long as needed to process the inquiry and any resulting relationship.
9. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
